Thank You Cards

Dear Dr. Squires,

Thank you for doing an amazing job on my chest.

It may sound silly but I am actually so happy that I had to switch those old implants out so that I could receive a lift.

I never would of gone through all of this twice if I didn’t have to but now with how good I look and feel it was all very worth it.

The recovery is so much less than last time around. I also love that you can make breasts look very natural and not that artificial look some girls love.

Thank you again!
So Happy :)

Dear Doctor Squires,

It has been a little over four years since you performed a facelift procedure on me. I wanted to let you know how great I still look. You did such wonderful work & I just had to thank you once again for making me look as young as I feel.

Dear Dr. Squires,
Just a note of thanks for our office visit last week. It was nice to see you again, as the years go by so quickly.

I am anxious to proceed with surgical plans as we discussed. It all sounds good and I am hoping to arrange it as soon as possible. Once I have the details worked out I will call the office to schedule time for it to be done. Your staff in the office are so supportive and each one of them were completely friendly and helpful with answering any questions I had…

L's CardI had always wanted them and now was the right time to do it!

I’ve wanted to get them done since I was in high school and for different reasons it wasn’t the right time until now! Let me tell you, it was the best decision I’ve made for myself in a long time. I was a little fearful of the healing process, but I you follow the doctors orders things go very smoothly. In fact, I went to Scotland exactly two weeks after surgery and was totally fine. I had a little soreness, but I listened to my body and my doctors orders and was able to fully enjoy my trip. I am quite active and was worried about that as well, but I am almost 6 weeks post op and can do most activities I did before, again listening to my body! Not mention, my husband loves them as much as I do. I recommend anyone who has been thinking about it, to just do it, there is no reason to wait!

Shannon’s Story

“I lost 85 pounds and kept the weight off for 4 years through diet and exercise. In August 2008, I called off my wedding one week prior after realizing I wasn’t the same person I was 4 years ago and 85 pounds lighter. Needless to say this was a complete life change.

I decided to look into plastic surgery to remove the excess skin diet and exercise wasn’t eliminating. I also thought of it as a gift to myself for working so hard to lose the weight and making the extremely difficult decision of canceling my wedding. I was 30 years old and loathed my reflection in the mirror.

I researched and consulted with many surgeons in the Denver area. I decided on a doctor after being promised a wonderful result. In October 2008, I had breast augmentation, mini tummy tuck, smart lipo and inverted nipple repair. It was obviously an expensive procedure and I was so excited to see my new promised self. What I saw was a reflection more hideous than before. I had bulging fat pockets on my abdomen, massive scar tissue around breasts, lost the option to breast feed but still had inverted nipples, fallen implants (double bubble), scarred indentation on left hip from excess lipo and misshapen to name a few problems. I had so many problems that I had to endure several in patient procedures to no avail. It was heartbreaking, I somehow felt worse about myself.

I spent the following years in a place much darker than before. I met the love of my life and hid myself from him. I showered and dresses in the dark so I could hide from my self. I blamed myself for letting myself get obese and lazy and to think I could just pay to easily improve my body. It was a mental and physical breakdown of my quality of life. I was starting to internally worry that I would lose the love of my life if I continued to live with such a shattered body image. I know he loves me regardless, but I also knew it was time to take back my life and be free.

I had several consultations with Dr. Squires before making a decision as I had so many doubts from my previous experience. It was obvious that he had his work cut out for him in even agreeing to take on my case. From the beginning Dr. Squires made me feel so secure and comfortable in my vulnerability. Dr Squires and his staff were beyond courteous and patient while I made my decision. This was the BEST decision of my life.

As of May 16th, Dr. Squires handed me my life back through gentle hands and expertise. He reconstructed the damage done to my body. He always managed my expectations and told me upfront what he could and could not improve. I knew at that moment that I chose the right doctor. Do not make my mistake and go to the “Yes” doctor, go to the honest one.

Dr Squires gave it all back; my self confidence, positive body image, mental and physical quality of life and my HAPPINESS.

Thank you Dr. Squires for your respect, patience and overwhelming generosity. Thank you for everything you have given back. I will never be able to find the right words to express the gratitude I will have towards you the rest of my life.

…I recently went to Jamaica for my boyfriend’s 40th birthday and wore a bikini, something far beyond my wildest dreams and I looked great! I am in love with myself for the 1st time in 20 years.”
